Blocs Wave- loop starter flag being ignored. Loop starting in middle?
I’m sure there is a rational and straightforward explanation- but I cant remember why this happens. I press play- the loop starts playing from the middle- even though the little triangle loop marker is at the start. Press stop then play again and the same thing happens? Link is off.

I just tried it in stand alone mode with link off. It worked as expected for me. What is the source of your loop file? Do the built in Blocs loop work ok? Are you using other apps, or just Blocs when this happens?
If Link is off, and loops are recorded though Audiobus, you will have to flatten your loops inside blocs wave to avoid this strange behavior. This is not documented cause it’s obviously a bug, certainly related to Audiobus recording with Link enabled and with certain loops lengths (more than 2 bars I think). Flattening loops will create a new loop (more data!!) with proper starting.
Thanks! That worked exactly as you described, both cause and solution. Awesome.
Yeah it happens. Buts it’s always offset a specific amount so you just need to move it until it starts where you want
Yes indeed- that’s exactly what I was doing. Thanks everyone- very well spotted Janosax- I don’t think I would have worked this out myself
It took me a while to find a fix for this
