Cubasis shifting all imported MIDI down 2 octaves and all MIDI out up 2 octaves
I’m importing midi files into Cubasis and all of the note data is shifted down by two octaves. When I connect Cubasis to another app or external hardware all note data is shifted up by two octaves.
Can anyone confirm this? Am I crazy?

It seems fine for me. What other apps are involved? Are you using one other particular app to import/export midi with Cubasis?
I’m exporting from Auria. Also, just creating a new Cubasis project and send MIDI out to Auria or Gadget has the notes transposed up.
This could have something to do with the fact that Cubasis does NOT support the full range of midi-notes (ie. Midi-Notes 0 to 127) so it has to do some kind of compromise during import...
When you say the notes are transposed up,/down do you mean the sound you hear or the labelling on the piano rolls?
Could be. I’ml looking at things in the C0 C1 range. Those notes show up in Cubasis on the. Piano roll and on the keyboard so that is a little concerning.
When importing a MIDI file, all notes are transposed on the roll are transposed down. When playing back to external devices, if I were to play C2, it would come out transposed up.
