.. just s quickie, is there a way to stop samples playing automatically one after another in the library ?

Click the i (info/about) icon top left....then select settings....then turn Auto-preview next to off
Disable Auto-preview next in the settings (found in the top right 'I in a circle').
Alternatively if you set your sounds to loop on the main page- they will not play one after the other.
