Cubasis/GarageBand style DAW for Reason?
I’ve seen rumors here before but I wish it would become a reality. I’m still an iOS guy but Reason 10 really appeals to me and I wish there was a “Cubasis “ for it .

You mean Reason for iOS? No idea but Reason 10 is v. nice. In a Heath Robinson fashion it must be said.
Yeah about a year ago, Propellerheads sent out an email asking if people would be interested in beta testing an upcoming mobile app. They didn’t really offer any detail beyond that, but apparently their product manager gave an interview in Swedish where he said that they were working on a mobile port. I still haven’t seen any invites but I’m waiting patiently.
In my opinion, GarageBand’s onscreen controls are fantastic but they don’t give enough control over their synth sounds. Meanwhile, Gadget gives you tons of control over the sound but is difficult to actually play — it’s all designed around a piano roll. Meanwhile, Thor for iPad has an amazing keyboard and Figure is a brilliant touchscreen sequencer. With those controllers and deep access to the brilliant Reason 10 sound engine, it could be the “Goldilocks ideal” of iOS DAWs.
Thanks @jrjulius .
@Jocphone : Yeah, I’m gonna buy a laptop and Reason 10 might be IT for me. Like Gadget on STEROIDS!!
One of the nice things about Reason is that it runs very efficiently. I'm on a 10 yr old MacBook Pro and am running 20 odd tracks on the current project without a glitch.
