Yeah the subgrouping is big for me too because I have been building custom FM drum synths in KQDixie, but I don't want seven tracks taking up the main view just for drums.

Subgroups would be much appreciated, but my guess is that it's not as easy for them to implement, or it's not the most requested feature, or some combination of those two factors. It's still a great iOS DAW to me for what it does, and it just got better. I'm an old bugger myself, and I made music with about the most primitive recording hardware there was. There are so many options these days. I don't always go to Cubasis, but sometimes it's just the ticket.

I've tested this too, looks like Model D isn't reloading properly for me either, Moog might need to look into it.

ok that's odd. I deleted the demo projects using the files app (thanks for this!) and now the Model D loads again. Not sure if that's a permanent fix...

Please follow these steps if Cubasis fails to load (project load hangs)

• Quit Cubasis
• Go to iOS Settings
• Scroll down left column until Cubasis appears
• Tap Cubasis entry
• On the right: Enable "Load empty project on next app launch" option
• Launch Cubasis

Seems to be related to Model D in this case.

well... Model D comes up in the list of Midi FX in cubasis... is that part of the problem? ( ie: when you have a rozetta unit running as well as D ,, or is there some midi function model D does that I haven't fathomed yet??

No, in ‘the other thread’ was mention of issues with reloading projects containing Model D. It doesn’t seem to be related to Midi FX at all.

Kinda itchin' to try it, if the effing App Store weren't down. Have auto updates on but keep getting the "app store down" message when I try to update Cubasis. I'm an old mainframe guy. We couldn't change the color of a font without posting a notice that the update was coming. If I'd been responsible for causing even a 10 minute delay for millions of users (SOME users, my eye...), I'd be selling pencils on a street corner. The App Store has been down for at LEAST a couple of hours.

Just bought Cubasis yesterday (No mention of the 50% sale ANYWHERE) and was frustrated with the Rozeta's no function, and today, Wala, it works. You got to love iPad music for its consistency (After waiting almost 2 years for updates to programs on the PC).

Ok, Cubasis... we really need Ableton Link now.

I think Cubasis Piano roll is the best I have seen on iOS ... But a NORA type AUv3 will be.... heaven.
