  • Sweet!
Love your stuff bro! Keep up the good work :)

  • My ears exploded. The narration/voice is very low so when I turn up the volume the synth sounds make my brain explode. Other than that it's a nice video, please watch levels next time ok?

    No worries!

There are many videos with somewhat miss-matched levels out there in YouTube-Land.
It's something that can easily happen to anyone when excitement strikes :)

    anyone making expansion packs?

With the current patch-management system in VOLT no.
I would prefer an simpler approach to just create a folder, save my patches in it and share.
Even though VOLT makes great noises there's something with it that simply doesn't 'click' with me...

Let's just say that I have forwarded my 'issues' with the app to to developer and I'm now on the beta so I hope things will improve with time :)

Please listen to me, radio guru for decades...
On your voice, use eq, remove everything that’s rumbling in the low register. Than run compressor on your voice.
Voice doesn’t need to be much louder, just find a frequency where it pierces the mix.

    Btw. Good video

The video is good for sure :)
When I was doing 'radio' in my youth we used a ducker when speaking over music to duck down the 'other' audio and let the voice pass. I kinda miss that 'style' and it's only abused in some genres of music to create pumping...

    LoL I remember :)
Now we use a computer just to run the compressor. Then you get the deepest sexiest Super Bowl commercial voice imaginable  I usually duck the music manually on the mixer. But you never talk over singing. We map the instrumental areas in a song to talk over. It pops up in the broadcast sequencer if it’s done right.

One fun thing people did in music-class (9th grade) was to take a Run DMC record and ad-lib some funny (like reply to the lyrics) ducked rap in-between original lyrics of the track. Loads of fun and worked quite well since the arrangement was pretty basic :) (Run DMC's 'Raising Hell' album was too perfect for this).

Yeah it was more fun and experimental back in the days...(Huh, feeling old -72)

  • Well thankas for the kind words I will put that into effect on the next show thaks

  • LoL those memories
    I’m still feeling young I’m afraid (61model)
All my sofa chilling has spared my body from decades of aging.
