has there been any talk about an Audiobus 4?
I'm still on 2 and just now getting the need to use it so thought it'd be worth an ask.

Ah i see, in case you buy AB3 then get annoyed that AB4 drops?
yeh, that's part of it and also just wondering if there are no more features to add, or if up and coming technologies might change the whole paradigm!
I'm so out of the loop that its probably not even a question someone should be asking
I heard he is skipping 4-9, and the next one will be Audiobus X.
Hey guys
I am indeed forming plans for Audiobus 4; it's likely to be a pretty significant update, probably the biggest since the original. It's a long way off yet, so I certainly wouldn't be holding out for it, and I've not even started deciding on a related business model yet.
Is this before or after Loopy Pro release?
After
(I'm actually planning on rolling in some of Loopy Pro's codebase to do some stuff)
Version 3 is still getting regular updates and I have yet to have problems. iOS 10 is on all my devices
Loopy had been neglected for years and it's in my top 5 apps since getting a cheap Behringer foot controller. So much depth in the simple interface, can't wait to see what's in the next version!!!
Interestingly Loopy HD did what it said on the box right at launch, such a difference compared with the way apps seem to be released nowadays where there are very public betas. And then Michael added more and more features to it while still retaining the fundamental high quality of the app. I wouldn't call it neglect so much as unnecessary but helpful updates over all these years.
I'm with you, Loopy is still in my top 5 apps and I've got a ton of loopers and when combined with Audiobus' transport panel it is just incredible (I love the little rotating dot that tells me where the loop is).
Sorry @fprintf I should have been more clear in my post.
I bought Loopy the same day as Nave, Samplr, Animoog, Alchemy and Audiobus and didn't end up spending much time with Loopy since that was just the entrance to the wormhole!
Just recently have I discovered how powerful those circles can be
