Help - iconnectivity midi 4+ and Ableton Audio problems

Hello guys. Is anyone running Iconnectivity midi 4+ with ableton? I have problems sending audio from the ipad via the interface. Which audio settings do you use in inconfig? I tried 44100, 24 bit. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. And when I build an aggregate device with my NI Komplete Audio 6, ableton crashes constantly. Any help? Cheers.

  • Not sure, but maybe try 16 bit instead.

    Makes sense.

    Thanks, I try

  • I set everything up from scratch again, now it seems to work.
I have crackling audio from time to time with 16 and 24 bit. Changing the sync factor seemed to help.

Does the device also have the option to an internal clock? That works best for me.

  • Yes it has.
I was adviced to clock in from the USB port where my Macbook is connected to.
I'll try the internal, thanks for the suggestion.

I've read that too. When I'm using the internal clock it's rock solid for me though (latest macOS & iOS versions).

I turn on the IC first, then plug in the Mac and iPad. Works all the time over here...
