By the way: Is it possible to display the number of pages at the beginning of a thread?
I think NanoStudio and BeatMaker 2 still feel the best to me.
I guess so but I don't know if there's an already existing plugin for our forum that does that already. If there is, we can add it quickly. If not we're going to postpone adding it until we've got time to hack... err... change the forum software.
@sebastian
Tested on a few longer threads via firebug console. To use it, just shove it somewhere within
inside of http://forum.audiob.us/js/global.js
ah, @syrupcore . I knew there was a reason I liked you. We're apparently in the same field.
@boone51 cheap jQuery hackery?
Beatmaker 2 works for me albeit it has a rather quirky logic to it at first. I'm not impressed with some effects such as reverb or modulation and there is no built in soft synths all PCM style sounds (yuck). Thanks to audiobus one can do a lot though and midi set up is pretty good but I'm having latency problems using virtual midi on ipad 4. Also beatmaker 2 has got a funny way of storing rec files. I.e. if you have a session and then decide to delete it the files from the session are left behind clogging the memory. I've learned to delete unwanted takes right away (pain) but I wish one could purge unused audio files. This daw kinda works better as looping/slicing/sampling machine rather then your garage band thing. I haven't tried auria but last time I've checked it it was only an audio multitrack with effects. If you're into looping loopy hd is great but limiting for obvious reasons, midi, key binding implementation is best I've seen on ipad. My 50cent.
Done. No jquery hackery was needed for this, too.
Quotes might take some more time, sorry
Thanks @Sebastian! That will be a real time saver! :-)
I am thinking about buying Cubasis...This forum has got me spending more money on apps
@Vejichan - And the funny thing is that we often get faster responses from the developers and product reps in this forum than we do on their own forums.
@Sebastian Thanks for implementing the page numbers so fast ;-)
