iWavestation - any way to entirely clear User cards?

I've just imported a syx file into iWavestation and by default its gone into the User2 card.
But I notice that the User1 card contains an exact duplicate of the Ram1 card and the User 3 cards contains a duplicate of Ram3.

Is there anyway to delete the entire contents of the User1 and User3 cards?
I know they are re-writable but I want them be empty so I can easily know how many slots there are remaining.
I tried deleting and re-installing the app but to my surprise that didn't clear out the cards.

  • I've been puzzled about this too as there is no easy way to 'reset' iWavestation apart from re-installing it.
iM1 is easy to reset though...

  • I did re-install it, but that didn't appear to do anything. Should the User cards be empty after a re-installation?

Oops, forgot that iWavestation stores the patches in the area shared by all Korg apps to be able to share patches with Gadget, arghh.

So in order to do a full reset (including cards) all Korg would need to be deleted which is a no-go at the moment.

If i recall correctly this 'factory reset' issue has been mentioned over at the Korg Forums but we've not yet seen a solution.

  • Ah, it must be implemented using iOS groups for shared data. Makes sense now
