Nothing more to say.
It hit me and I was off to the races.

I will say something more...
This app is really awesome. It has been around for years, but seems a bit unknown. I had it on on my Android phone about 3 years ago, and it was the first app I ever purchased for the iPad 2, since it was coincidentally on sale for $3 the first time I visited the AppStore.
The midi out makes this thing incredibly useful. I use it to drive synth CCs with the funky LFO waveforms you can create with this app. It is also super easy to make variations on parts with the way you combine multiple waves by simply changing the phase relationships. Also cool is how the rhythmic aspect is separate from the melodic aspect, which allows for ever mode combinatorial fun.
It is similar in concept to Different Drummer, but way more approachable for a new user.
I think it may be similar to the new updated module for Xequence, PolyHymnia. I have to spend more time with that one to tell if it is similar. Also just picked up MidiLFOs, so maybe I can expand on what Oscilab can do for CC driving.
But Oscilab will always be highly recommended by me, until it breaks or dies.
@RUST( i )K So what are you up to? Hooking it up to AU synths?
You’re always so cryptic.
So true! lol
Having Modstep and loads of other sequencers, I never got interested in Xequence. But this PolyHimnia seems a nice addition
Gonna keep an eye on it now!
That new module got me to finally get Xequence, after watching it grow with much interest. 3 days later I bought the unlimited tracks IAP. The Force is strong with this one.
“Will always be highly recommended by me until it breaks or dies”
Words I live by.
I generally don’t do much AU instruments.
Too small for my swollen hands.
Too set in my ways.
However, I am taking another serious look at them.
If they are truly lighter on CPU I will transition.
You know the song? Right?
Been busy with some projects and further evaluation of my direction stylistically.
I am also looking into what role I want Ableton to have or not have.
I am using an Air 2 that is giving me issues with many new apps so frustrating at times.
However I love iOS music making.
I have a preset bank for Zeeon done really and another for Model 15.
Been swamped with some other things.
I am loving my Circuit to be honest.
I am also still an IMPC pro avid user.
I am in a patient holding pattern for SynthMaster to be honest.
In meantime the new Granular from Sighn is a winner.
Synthscapr is also a fave of mine.
Animooog stays used as well.
I am also using the BassLine app a bit.
It for sequence if not sound.
BM3 new update may hold some promise (beta)
As well as iMPC for some new parameter control.
Other wise I am using Circuit for almost 80% drums these days.
I think the AB2 departure may also force my hand on AB3 or moving on once AB2 starts fucking up big time.
I think the preoccupation with AU status is really boring fodder in here lately.
So redundant
We know we all want AU
I would like to see more production techniques and stuff people actually make and less wish lists and complaints about feature requests.
Thanks for asking 🤮
