YouTube download - 2018?

I know there have been threads on this in the past, but apps that can do this get withdrawn quite swiftly.

I accidentally updated AlohaBrowser app that had been allowing me to download YouTube vids. That functionality is now removed in updated version.

Figured I could go find the .ipa file on my Mac iTunes folder but also see that there have been major changes to iTunes and those ipa files aren’t in iTunes folders any more.

So, anybody downloading with a current app/ website?

When you do locate your .ipa file how are you loading onto device. IFunbox stopped doing this I think. iMazing and iExplorer I’ve Seen mentioned in the past.

Afaik it could be possible to deinstall iTunes on our Mac computer (it is a bit tricky - but easy if you ask me) and to re-download version 12.6.2 from July 2017 (that means: devices newer than July 2017 don't get any support, like iPhone 8, iPhone X or iPad 2018).

Windows User are a bit preferred in the world of Apple - they can download a version 12.6.4 which is up to date (and includes app store, too).

(please don't ask me what i think about Apple's upate policy and the "improvements" of the newer iTunes versions if you want to avoid explicit languate)

On another similar note has anyone found a way to record audio from a web browser in iOS?
Other than using the headphone jack/ lightning jack etc

Workflow can do it. There are recipes online. Also Documents app combined with an online converter is an option. Lots of those just google.
