Ambient sound pads

If you are looking for a great, portable ambiant pad program that will play on an iOS platform, go to the App Store and search Soft Pads. Great Price and Sounds. You are able to layer pads as well.

  • Chill man, every single comment you’ve put on this forum has the same two links. Feels spammy. ... or at least like you are here to advertise, not participate in the forum.

Wait for others to click and report back what they think of this app. Or better yet, give us an AppStore link rather than sending people to twitter or Facebook.

  • This app at least has Audiobus support, but it needs landscape mode for a lot of people to use it. Maybe a universal version instead of just iPhone. Also, it would help tremendously to have a demo video showing off some of the built in sounds and fx to get people on this forum more interested.
@HowardN I don’t know if you are the developer of this app, but maybe you can forward these suggestions to them. The app looks interesting, but your approach to promoting it might seem a bit unusual on this forum. Anyway, I wish you luck with your new app. B)

  • I do love a good pad. All these "worship pad" and "ambient pad" threads popping up has inspired me to make some of my own pad patches.

  • Still no AppStore link :) funny

  • And found nothing on Audiobus compatible apps list
Since at work social networks are blocked, not even bothering to search elsewhere now lol

It does have a landscape mode. What kind of device are you using?
There is a demo on the FB page with some sounds. But you are right, there should be a sampling of more of the sounds.

I actually purchased this, Very nice, Is it possible to remove the starting "clicks" when crossfade is not enabled

any plans of adding Midi so can control this with foot?

  • Haha, well i can see that it looks that way. This post originally had very little info. It looks much better now, and the app looks like a good tool.

But yes, when a user shows up with a new account, has zero interaction in the community, and just starts posting links... most of the time it is a spam bot.

He is a developer and just posts his apps, do u think he is obliged to do any further?

Is that so? Well he didn’t tell us any of that info...
It would be much more courteous to introduce himself, provide details about the app, why they made it, etc.

I hope for the best for this dev, no hard feelings now that we have a bit more info.
