You can find the Quantiloop manual here: http://quantiloop.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/quantiloop2.pdf
Yes @Dawdles, you can export and import individual tracks to/from AudioShare, AudioCopy, iTunes and the Files app. And yes, QL shows the IAA transport bar when used in AUM (and other IAA hosts).
QL uses presets for saving loading hard- and software settings in the app; there is no songmode....
Hi @Dawdies,
See answers below. However feel free to download Quantiloop Basic which is free and has most of the functionality in.....
Yes
I'll leave the answers to the users, but we think it is quite good. For sure way better then an RC300
Yes, export to audio share is fully supported. But as states it doesn't have a song mode (Ie. record the whole performance). But this can be easily achieved by hosting in AUM/Audioshare.
Yes
Yes, switching is seamless. (Of course if a preset loads an AU that takes a long time to load there is not much we can do).
Yes.
Yes, you shouldn't find any pops or clicks.

Ok will add some additional notes to the or's
(But again please try the free version):
Thanks Tja, missed that one
it would be great to control the track functions in audiobus.
Was going to ask about this. Tried it and it didn’t work at first (getting distortion in either AUM or AudioShare). Tried again and it’s working as expected, so that’s really nice.
What would be even better is if Quantiloop itself could be an AUv3 for AUM. Maybe that’s a bit crazy but it’d make things easier. In a way, Quantiloop is overkill but having some kind of AUv3 looper within AUM is pretty much my key scenario.
Especially now that my MIDI Expression iO pedal adapter came in. Can use a footswitch to start/stop loops. Makes a big difference as my hands are busy playing, during this time. A real gamechanger, for me. Now, it’s mostly about practicing my looping skills.
You could use AUM or AB to route the audio and add however many effects your machine can handle. Just load each Q track output as an input in AUM or AB. Lets Quantiloop do what it's best at (multiple track looping) and leaves AUM/AB to do its thing.
Can I load this as an AUv3 looper into the effect slots in AUM to loop stuff „on the fly“ (as i do it with brambos Kosmonaut until now)?
If not... is there an AU looper right now that I can use? Or even better a sequencer that I can feed quantized live recording into like I can in my circuit or Digitone? This is the one thing missing for eternal bliss (haha, yeah of course...)
Hopefully I have overseen it
It’s not an AUv3 and it can’t go into an FX slot in AUM.
I wish.
With AudioBus, you could record into each of the four loopers and then have the four separate channels, plus the main and rhythm outputs, all in separate channels in AUM. I’m not sure this is anything like what you’re looking for though.
