Usb mixer/Guitar FX question
When using a usb multi channel mixer is there a way to only have one channel using guitar FX with an iOS app and the rest of the channels unaffected?
This might be obvious. Maybe I’m missing something.
Thanks crew

It depends if your mixer can function as a multichannel usb audio interface, or if it just sums all channels to one stereo like a regular mixer. If it supports multiple channels, you can select which channel to send where on apps like audiobus or aum and any proper daws. You would then host the guitar fx on the correct channel in audiobus, aum etc and listen dry sound from others(or add other fxs to them).
It’s a presonus ar12 studio live mixer
Looks like that mixer is 8x4 over USB so this should be possible. Don't own it so can't help beyond that. Maybe ask Presonus support? And/or maybe add the mixer to thread title to get the attention of any other owners here.
If you want to use the ipad just for the guitar FX and nothing else then you could connect it into the FX Send and use it on a single channel that way ?
Do you want to use the iPad for guitar fx (like software fx) or process the iPad with external guitar fx (pedals)?
