Is there a dedicated page that shows current music apps on sale?

What is the best resource for tracking when music apps go on sale?

I use lookmark to track which apps are on my want list

  • I use Appshopper.com to track sales and store my wishlist. It emails you when an app on your wishlist goes on sale, too.
It seems a little slow to sync with the AppStore lately. Sometimes, I will hear about something here, but it won’t show on Appshopper for a while, sometimes days. It used to be better, so I suspect it is something different about the AppStore causing the delay.

  • I have AppTicker News on my Iphone 5c.. It keeps track of all app price drops, but the big bonus is, that it also tracks IAP price drops, which is great. It seems to do a pretty good job, and rarely misses anything. I think it's free, but i can't remember if i paid for it or not..........

The IAP tracking is tempting. I may have to switch over.

    Interesting.

But sadly, it allows to sort by category but NOT to restrict to a category.
So, you need to scroll down a hour till you get down to music Apps.
    Very sad.

If you have a quick look everyday it's not a problem, as all new price drops are from the newest downwards by date. It's free & it works, nothing to not like really........

  • I personally prefer appsliced.co to appshopper. I also use musicappnews, despite it having some "plaque" (outdated/old sources no longer updating).

    This was once the best:

    http://musicappnews.com/great_deals.php

But nowadays it seems to miss certain important deals and isn’t always reliably up to date. Appshopper is good but generic and not focused on our zone. Discchord provides round ups fairly often but has no dedicated tracker. http://ipadloops.com Is another good place, but no dedicated, continually updated app sale page.

So basically you have to check multiple sources. Still, musicappnews is probably the first place to check.

  • I usually goto this site, it’s updated daily and there’s a music section. Unfortunately you cannot list every single music app on sale at once, you can only go day to day (as far as I know) but it’s still pretty convenient. I’m not that hardcore about it, I know there are plenty of good apps out there that do this better but this still ain’t half bad
