SQRT is a multitouch sound board sample player. Tap on the items to trigger different sounds. Drag a triggered sound around the surface to change its parameters. Use the two buttons on the side to change the way how you can play / trigger the sounds.

Thank you developer for that timely audiobus update. Great little app you've made, it's a blast to play and makes good use of the touch screen. Nice minimal interface design, you've done well.

I'm still waiting for a video or manual. I don't get it.
Here's all I know from messing with it... The screen is normally a monophonic trackpad for the sample you click and drag on, x/y control of sample start and playback speed. The right circle puts it in legato mode instead, and the other circle puts in sustain mode. One cool thing is you can set sustain independently per sample so you can get a few loops going and play the others via the trackpad method. You can put your own samples and now, critically, can record out in AB. Its a massive loop player basically.
Video for this later today...I made it a few weeks ago before AB so I think it's a good time to drop it..

Very cool app! After toying with it very briefly I can see this being used a lot. The IAP is like $1.99 and well worth it for being able to import from Audioshare.
This is good fun, but with the abilty import your own samples and with AB this could be really useful..
Pro version free atm.

Infinitely more useful after splurging a little money on the IAP.....good fun with your own samples, in my case alongside Dandy with both going through Strange Attractor > Crystalline = big drone !
I don't really understand the point of the shifting shapes. Is it just random eye candy, or does the shape actually indicate something regarding the parameters?

Can anyone point how I can import samples from AudioShare? I know I have already did it but right now I'm out of possible solutions. No send to from AudioShare nor evident load function. Or I'm just blind

I do have the pro version and I can confirm the free ones has no sample import.
