Hi there,

I'm diving into this app and there's still things I had'nt figured out.

Is it possible to use a sequence only to send cc msgs without any notes (notes on seq1 and cc automation on seq 2 ) ?

I'd like to couple quantum & synths with my digitakt, what would be the best set-up ? AUM ? Who should be master / slave ? Is anybody doing that here ?

    Not sure if there is a fancier way, but try setting zero velocity for sequence 2 in the main fader section.

    As @CracklePot says 0 vel will not send notes. However you can use Devices panel - which has a button to enable output for Notes, CC, FX or Output. If you want to send only CCs disable all of these except CC(output relates to controls transmitting midi CCs). If you want to send notes disable all but Notes keep only the Notes enabled.

    If you want this per sequence (i.e. if you want different type of send on one device) do this for per sequence by defining devices at the sequence level (sequence 2nd page Global Midi button - press that to bring up the option 'Setup as Rack Midi' - device panel there relates to your selected sequence only.

    careful use of FX & Notes enables you to send fx notes to a different device/synth!

    The simplest way to do this is set the velocity of all notes in Sequence 2 to 0. Note messages are still sent, but should be ignored by the synth (since velocity 0 is the same as a note off).

    The proper way to do this is to set up each sequence with its own destination by setting each sequence to "Rack Midi". In the rack output's device list you can set what type of MIDI data is sent. You can turn off "Note" data for Sequence 2 and then it only sends the CC data.
