Michael and Sebastian

Can we just pause for a second and recognize that these two guys created a system that was so badass that Apple attemtempted to mimic it natively and so far have come up short? Slow clap, dudes.

Yes..an incredible achievment..far far surpassing any expectations any of us has 12 months ago..congradulations to Michael and Seb for not only making probably the most important thing in iOS music..which is a historic achievment in itself...but for indirectly forming this community..

    .

  • @simon I plus one'd your plus one.

  • +1 here too..... don't forget the other gems like SoundPrism which was a revilution too (for me).

  • I agree completely! Thank you Michael and Sebastian! You two made the impossible possible! :-)

  • And guess who's birthday it is next week...
Well done you two.its been an amazing first year.

  • Thanks, you guys!!

  • +1
Agree, thanks for the past, present and future good work.

  • Absolutely agreed. Audiobus has made the rejuvenation of my musical creativity possible, and allowed me to tread ground I've never been able to in the past. A sincere thank you to the team.

  • +1. Thanks.

  • +1 from me....haha...

  • +1 great stuff!!

  • Amen!

I've been housebound and at times bedbound for a few years now and it really hit my music production - physically and indeed psychologically. When I got the iPad and NanoStudio I began to get my mojo back, but without question, Audiobus has transformed my musical life.

It makes a huge difference being able to sketch, play, record and most of all experiment no matter how I'm feeling or where I am. Audiobus brings a simple interface but allows highly complex processes. I've been making music for 20 years but this beats any set-up I've had before. This immediacy is the crucial factor. Incredible.

The price is another important factor - it's almost too cheap but that's what makes it a no-brainer for even casual musicians. Our hosts have created something that is greater than the sum of its parts - a window into appland to discover new ways of working, apps we might never have looked at previously, a forum I read every day, a rich source of creativity, and yes, a community of respectful contemporaries. And I'm excited to see what comes next!

So I'd like to add my very warmest thanks that go beyond a mere financial transaction. Genuinely, Audiobus has improved my life :-)

    This!

  • +1 it takes geniuses to come up with something that has proven so essential for an activity like music production. It is a true enabling technology, a rare thing indeed!

  • Yes, Michael and Sebastian are the geniuses of the audio app world! Thanks a lot for putting out Amazing Audio Engine as well. Mensch!

  • [shaft]Those cats Michael and Sebastian are some baaaad mother shutyourmouths[/shaft]

Audiobus is the main reason why my windows desktop box and its maybe thousand dollars worth of music software collects dust and I'm doing a lot of stuff on the iPad with apps that usually cost less than $20. The AB guys should get a cut of every iOS DAW sold on the app store.

yeah, they made the music tools of my dreams.

and changed the way i make music.
i do my living thanks to these tools, and they have became a short of music instrument themselves, i have my cello, and i have loopy and audiobus.

    together they form the Trinity

i could not imagine my instrument without them.

  • +1 Audiobus is the bees knees!

  • Totally agree. Btw, @Sebastian, have the results been announced for that music app award yet?

  • Yes, saying thanks doesn't seem to quite cut it.., :-). Brilliant and thanks!!!

  • Btw, @Sebastian, have the results been announced for that music app award yet?

    Not yet.

  • I have learnt more about synths and music creation in general,in this last year on IOS,than I have learned in twenty years on PC and hardware. The most important thing is,I've had a lot of fun
Along the way and none of this would have been possible without Audiobus and this forum, what a next gen game changer it's been, thanks a lot Sebastian and Michael, can't wait for the update it's so exciting.

  • Yeah, Audiobus has exponentially changed my musical creativity ! Thanks Sebastian and Michael for your awesome work!

  • Reading all the comments made me think how awesome it is to have been along for the ride since the beginning, well close to it (joined in January), and to have seen how iOS music in general has advanced leaps and bounds from where it was, and it continues to do so quickly. It's only been one year and I'm guessing this is just the beginning!

It's not hard to see that Audiobus has been a major, if not the entire, reason for the rapid advancement of the iOS music community. Soon all the big names will have apps, we've already seen a lot jump on board (Korg, Steinberg, Proppelerheads, FL Studio, Sugar Bytes,....). I think this community was an unplanned surprise, but also a testament to Audiobus, it's team, and the impact it's made.

    Thank You & Well Done

  • Yeah great work. Now give us the sequel :)
