Enjoyed that! @theconnactic you captured the 70s vibe well
This has a nice groove going!
Thank you so much!
I have FF Pro L2! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
I know it! Pro L2 is much, much better! Thank you so much for your feedback, I do appreciate it!
No, you got me totally wrong, hahahaha!
FF Pro L2 is much, much better and transparent than Maxima (or any other limiter on iOS for that matter). How do I know? I have both (and a few other “mastering” apps). If I push both, Maxima will distort first, will give artifacts first etc etc. I always do A/B comparisons before such statements, because besides doing my own music, I do production for others on iOS and will always use the tools that give the best results.
I didn’t use a limiter on my guitar. Since I value your feedback, if and when I decide to remix it, I’ll use a limiter. Then, I will use Pro L2, because it’s a better limiter (again, I also have Maxima), because it makes no sense using an okay tool if I can use a great one - it’s like mixing on Cubasis if I have Auria Pro, which is so much better for the task.
Sorry if it seemed that I dismissed your opinion: it was not my intention - I really may well aplying a limiter on the guitar to see how it goes. I honestly think it’s not necessary, and I’m pretty satisfied with the sound I got, but since I’m personally involved, it’s always great to listen for quality feedback from other people, and your definitely falls in that category.
P.S.: about the fact you liked it with more volume (which is different from “velocity” btw), and why I decided not to squeeze my music anymore, here’s a good read for you: https://gizmodo.com/loudness-sounds-better-it-s-also-ruining-music-1694020336

liked it a lot, you nailed the 70s rock n roll sound!
also have both maxima and prol (not the l2) and i concour with connactic, maxima is good but prol is far better and can be pushed way further. unfortunately for the cubase user, if you dont have a computer you still need auria to mix and master unless you send stems elsewhere
My pleasure, and thank you again! I really appreciate your feedback!
Thank you so much, Tony (hey, I love your song “Jenny”, heheheh)!
Nice tune! love the vocals.
tell me about the drum sounds... what are you using there? I like it!
Garageband for sketching, DrumPerfect Pro + Drumagog for the final sounds (also, PSP BussPressor and MicroWarmer). Thank you so much!
