Any way to use a Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with iPad?
I’ve been sent a UA Arrow audio interface to test, but it’s Thunderbolt 3. I don’t have a Mac with Thunderbolt 3.
Is there any kind of adapter or dock which will let me use it with an iPad Pro, or a regular USB 3 Mac?

it's impossible to run under IOS because (in Win/MacOS) there's a control software to handle the DSP stuff/licensing which doesn't exist for IOS.

I run a thunderbolt to usb3 Interface on my Mac mini. Works there...

So it should work on your Mac just fine (as the Mac runs the control software)
If you're the adventurous kind you may disconnect the Arrow after Mac configuration (without powering down) and plug it into the iPad via CCK.
This would show a 2 in/out device in IOS with the plugins hidden, but still active.
YMMV as connecting a device may include reset actions.
I have an Audient ID22 which has an internal DSP mixer that's also hidden from IOS.
Works like a plain io-interface, though... but sometimes can be strange as it may activate direct monitoring in a random way. Which means (for example) you hear the raw guitar input together with an amp sim, but of course very slightly delayed.
The ID22 looses all configuration when powered off and even needs an audio app to 'wake up'. The config via Mac/PC and then plug to IOS used to work smoother with older IOS versions/firmware. Atm it's pretty unusable with dedidacted routing setups, but it's a great preamp monitor controller in straight mode.
