how works automation ? Let's say, i add filter and i want to automate cutoff from host App - does parameter of added module instantly appear in host app or there is some predefined set of "macro" knobs in Drambo, to which you assign modela parameter, which are then possible to automate from host app ?
Ah wow. The only iPhone app I ever properly used was impaktor and that’s portrait so thought that was the default.

@dendy currently you can modulate parameters externally through CC. So you should be able to send midi cc from external midi track to Drambo, yeah?
Something for @giku_beepstreet to consider though.
only CC ? That's unfortunate, it means no automation in NS... That is game changer for me, without automation it's useless for me :-(( Still will buy it, but i was hoping it will be my go-synth no.2 in my projects, but without automation ...

@giku_beepstreet what about some generic, let's say 16 "macro" knobs which will be exposed as AU parameters to host app, and to which will be possible to assign parameter of any module ? For sake of simplicity just simple 1:1 mapping ...
Great idea. 16 macro knobs would certainly make it easier to map stuff in the host.
One question though: When I'm using automation/parameter locks inside Drambo then it will be saved with the host/DAW project, right?

AU automation module is planned but after release. Internal automation (p-locks) works in a DAW.
Just curious: What would you like to add to Zeeon?

@Callaeci thats the exact opposite intent of showing things off! It’s very intuitive and I think you’ll find it clicks once you have your hands on it (or when someone else explains it).

@jipumarino although he’s been very gracious with me posting here @giku_beepstreet may want me to wait on highlighting a number of features as there’s still changes being made. A new version of flex sampler is planned and extended functionality for racks is too.

You are obviously right, and I appreciate your demos immensely (even your voiceover is pleasant). It was a poor attempt of humour in the face of my ignorance about technical stuff.
I’m sure I’ll be able to make the same horrible “music” like I do with other apps.
@Callaeci I've learned a lot about how synths and sound design works through playing with this. But it’s easy enough with out any technical understanding.
Wonder if this will ramp up @jakoB_haQ’s appreciation for modular since miRack already got him started.
Everytime I see a new demo of Drambo, I phase out into a swirl of possibilities, followed by paralysis by feeling totally powerless to get my hands on it.

Is Drambo going to be more or less easy than miRack?
@MrSmileZ connections are made between modules automatically, so in that way it’s easier. You can still change them if you want, but you can just drop modules in and they’ll be wired up already.
No cables either, color coded connections.
It’s also organized into tracks and there is a built in sequencer. It’s a modular groovebox. You don’t get the boutique modules in eurorack; you make your own.
With miRack power comes complexity and while that's great for building advanced sound factories, it wouldn't be my first pick if my goal was to experiment a little but mainly have fun jams with it.
miRack is a complex and deep beast that demands your time, certainly more time than Drambo.
Another speed-up in Drambo seems to be the possibility to insert new modules anywhere without manual re-wiring.
