what page will we be on when the first purchase happens? no duplicates please. If you're second on the page number you can't win.

I'll claim 199 just for the irony. Hopefully this will generate a "must read frenzy" and more players and we'll exceed 200 in a week.

  • ugh the waiting lol

It’s 2021. The toilet paper has stopped rolling and water shortages are making bidets a thing of the past. Old Playboys and hoarded newspapers fill the septic tanks and sewers. The infected outnumber the pure with the margins still growing day by day.

The state of arts is abysmal. The painters flushed their canvases months ago. There haven’t been new movies or tv shows released since Mulan. The only musicians still releasing music are those who produce from their homes, with live musicians unable to play more than a note or two before coughing themselves into feverish delusions.

Still, one man toils away, day after day. He is determined for he knows time is short, and we will all soon perish. But he knows his creation, once completed, will stand the test of time and be revered as the last great pillar of what’s soon to be ancient Earthen society. As the Industrial Age of this world comes to a close, his creation will be the final shining artifact in a world lost in history.

His name is Giku, and Drambo is his legacy.

    :D

    Just release it @giku_beepstreet

We’ll all buy it (obvs) and finish beta testing whilst we’re stuck indoors.

Who knows what it’ll become by summer!!

    +1
You’ve been saying it’s close for couple of weeks 😳 please release it 🙏🏻 Have it at a pre bug squashing price n the whack it up to full price once sorted 🤔

lol dude he’s not going to release a buggy version for cheaper 🤣🤣🤣 like wtf

🤔 So Devs never release apps at introductory price n then full price ?
🤔 During that time I’m sure people find bugs and report them . I’ve seen it on here so I thought my request was fair n certainly doesn’t deserve a WTF like 😁👍
However I am a bit of a dude so I’ll let you off with it 😁

i was not trying to be a wtf but i see it came on that way, i just imagine certain apps that will be legendary make a lot of money on the first days of release, and with ios being so small of a market i personally think this one deserves the full price to start to support all the work gone into it and for the amazing amount of music we will get to make

  • Just Bought Nano Studio 2 at half price £9.99 so I’m happy for Drambo to get to 200 or I get to grips with Nano 2, which ever comes quicker🤞

In the meantime. Anybody want to share a guitar preset demo made with Drambo?
Or a nice Organ, noisy Flute or human voices.
I just ask because i really like modular synthesis to do some semi-realistic stuff and i sometimes find audio rate modulations with the right envelopes, filters, saturation and FX sounds better than physical modeling. At least if you want something simple just controlled via velocity and play it on a normal keyboard.

In testing I stole a preset from @bcrichards and it now sounds guitar.. sort of. Getting closer.

  • @Shiro 😍 that’s lovely

  • I would love to have this track on board :)

  • Rather nice @Shiro

  • Yes, very nice and indeed get a bit of nice guitar flavor here.
I cannot wait to try myself with Drambo (especially now at this times). I see it is a rather complex preset (i mean complex is relative in such a modular environment). I succeeded well (i think so) with just subtractive synthesis and a mix of 3-4 waveforms/OSCs plus 1 filter and 1-2 modulation sources only in a modular. I think what makes maybe the biggest part are the right envelopes and how gain staging works. Not sure. Subtle saturation at the right stage might play in as well.
I like something which sounds as close as possible (and of course it will never sound realistic as multi-samples or good physical modeled) but is just easy to play on a keyboard just using velocity for timbre or kind of round robin effect. No fancy MPE or whatever automations and modulations. Its funny that a lot of these modular presets i made are mainly happy accidents. Bring some audio rate stuff into it and its just the most fun to play with modular synths.
I actually find them even more easy to use for sound design as the "normal" subtractive synths.
So far the workflows on iOS modulars are not so great or the sound is just not there but from what i hear and see Drambo might be the game changer for me.
