iRig Keys I/O. Can it sound through the iPad speakers?
I just bought iRig Keys I / O 49, but I can’t make it sound through the internal speaker of the ipad, only through headphones or speakers
What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. The KB has built in Audio IO, so the internal speaker gets taken out of the chain. You can probably still use headphones plugged into the iPad, but you have to connect them after the KB.
If there is a way to disable the built in audio IO on the KB, that might allow you to use the iPad speaker.
At this time, it is not possible to bypass just the iRig Keys I/O audio interface, and route the audio output to the iPad speakers. This routing is set this way by iOS. You can route to Bluetooth/Airplay devices, but not to the built-in speakers.
We do hope Apple allows this in future iOS updates, but at this time it is not possible.
You can connect headphones or speakers to the iRig Keys I/O.
Awesome. Thanks for the detailed info.
