Saturday morning bump for those that didn't catch my late - day post...
Yep, that's me! Just call me Mr. Shameless-Self-Promotion.
Joined the forum before I came up with the handle - what are you gonna do?
One can never get enough music theory.
The most incredible melody infiltration of all times is in the last movement of Mozart’s last Symphony (nr.41)
If I remember correctly he launches 5 melodies that all fit together in the end, using fugue techniques and every skill in the book. It’s a tremendous listening experience. Just WATCH this video and try to follow the melodies.
I have endorsed this video (wtf is a video?) - W.A. Mozart
Whew. Thanks for sharing!
Happy to! I'll wait for confirmation first though
can we get a back story for the name mr. poo?
@Michael Yeah - that'd be great. Thanks!
So glad you all like the content. For as much as Johann and Wolfgang were geniuses, you don't need to be one to use some of their tools. Simple tricks can open up new worlds of inspiration. And doing it one note at a time is another way to generate ideas and variety.
@Daveypoo: Done!
Mother of God, THERE I AM!
Thanks, @Michael - a bit more poo, but a bit less confusion.
@vpich The origin: mostly it just makes me giggle. I like giving that name to the folks at Starbucks to yell out. Will they call the name? Who's head will turn when it is yelled out? It's my tiny way of trolling the world in a completely harmless yet thoroughly entertaining way.
And what can I say - I have a 4 and 7 year old and poop jokes are funny.

Mr Poo, you are reminding me of many years ago, in NYC for a convention, cracking up the other Brits by having the desk page “Mr Harry Bollocks.”
Very funny to Brit ears when spoken in an American accent.
I'm a sucker for a cheap laugh...
I really have to thank you for these files mr @tja
I’ve had so much fun playing them
