Simple FieldScaper Question
This SHOULD be very simple. According to the in-ap manual, loading a “scene” should load all of the effects AND all of the audio files assigned to each of the 3 oscillators. However, only the effects load for me. The audio files remain the same no matter which scene I load. I am using an iPadPro 12.9 running iOS 11.2.1.
Any ideas?

i love the idea of this app but it is so totally impenetrable. i never know how i arrive at a given scene or sound. i click a button and then it’s just ... gone.
I am in the same boat. Synthscaper totaly won me over and made me think I should give Field another shot but within a few minutes of not hearing much... oh look Grooverider
I’ve never had full control of fieldscaper, but it does start making more sense the more time you spend with it.
My issue is that I always get such dense stuff from it. Wish I could master its controls to open it up some, ie. less dense
Made this after the update while recording loops while watching a documentary on Pygmies last night. Used a tiny Rode VideoMicro mic plugged into iPhone for recording Pygmy doc loops.

If I had to reduce my 30,000 ios apps to just 10 Fieldscaper makes it into there every single time.
It works as described for me, although virtually every session is a case of random button pushing and lever pulling. That said, I know generally how things work as I’ve spent a lot of time with it, but it’s the best at what it does...and it’s a million miles away from Grooverider, so dunno why people seek solace there after not getting the love from Fieldscaper. They’re completely different animals.
This just keeps getting weirder. I am actually pretty good w/ this ap. I understand it’s controls and how to make it do what I want (w/in its own capabilities, of course).
But it actually will not load EITHER “presets” (the effects) OR “files” (the audio files) with a “scene” change on either one of my iPads. I can load individual presets and files, but not scenes. With the few who have addressed my actual problem here, that does not seem to be the case. I keep thinking that maybe I am missing something. But ...what?
I haven't used the scenes much. I mostly just make something, record, and then discard the settings.
However, I just tried on the iPhone SE install. Set up a different audio sample for each of the 3 OSCs. Applied fx to each OSC and messed with each set of parameters. Then hit "scene" saved to current scene. Renamed it. Then created a new empty scene with no effects or samples. Quit out. Opened back up, went to scenes. Selected the scene I'd created. Hit "set". And then my scene loaded with all the effects, presets, settings and samples I'd originally used. Worked as expected.
So, I don't know whats going on with yours. Mine appears to be working fine. I'm also running the latest iOS11.3 though, as well as the latest updated version of Fieldscaper.
If you updated to the latest Fieldscaper and this started happening, try to reinstall the app. Sometimes the update gets messed up for some reason, for any app, any time, any body.
Thanks for trying. I went through the same exercise with no joy. Still not loading any presets or files. OR ...they load but are all 100% identical, even though I have tried several and changed their content a few times. Still nothing.

Okay. Good idea. I tried it. What happened is I lost ALL of my previously stored files and my own previously created presets.
Then I went ahead and transferred some audio files into FieldScaper, set up a couple of new scenes and tried to load each of them. No joy. FS appears to simply not load any previously saved scenes.
I very much like the APs from this developer. They are very unique and quite useful. But ...there appears to be exactly ZERO technical support which is a major strike against him.
