Elastic drums with Rozeta??
Trying to get these to work nicely. I can seem to get the Ed pattern to not play when using Rozeta to sequence Ed. Using either AUM or Cubasis. Is it possible?

This sounds like it could be a good work around only being able to control ED from one midi controller. If you can load it in to AUM and use AUMs flexible midi routing I'd be very happy.
But, I've just tried this on the iPhone and can't seem to get Rosetta xox to trigger ED. User error no doubt. I've selected xox as a midi source on EDs channel and selected the ED template on xox. Sound is coming from ED when I click a drum pad, but not from xox midi.

Off the top of my head: there are two MIDI ports for ED, one can only be accessed from the MIDI matrx (I think it’s called ‘Elastic Drums Virtual Input’). That’s the one you need.
The joys of IAA and MIDI...
Since ED is IAA, you may need to go into its in-app midi settings and configure those to get it to respond. Some IAA make you do this, even though it seems like you can just do it in AUM.

Yeah I wish there was a way to turn off the internal sequencer in ed. When you press play in AUM or cubasis it plays the pattern in ed’s sequencer. If I clear out the patterns in a preset it works.
In ED, just load your drum sounds and empty the pattern.
I’ve never been able to get this working. Just tried again with about every combo of settings, and routing in AUM. Blank init sequence. Samples assigned to all 6 slots, connecting Elastic Virtual via AUM, setting notes in for ED, etc.
No dice, doesn't work for me. Figured there was something right in front of my face I was missing, but always just gave up on it.
After trying again this morning several times without luck, I decided to try deleting, re-installing, and restore purchases. Even though ED has worked perfectly for me ever since I originally installed it.
After the re-intall, tried again... boom! Works just like it's supposed to.
I already knew this about some apps likely getting a feature or 2 screwed up with some of the iOS11 updates, but I bet this happens a lot more than we realize.
I had Axon 2 crashing on me a lot. The developer never responded to my issue.... uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have solved the issue. But that deletes user presets
@skiphunt Thanks for sharing this. I am going to try it more often. I always looked for something to indicate that I may need to reinstall an app, but I will start trying this sooner when things go bonkers.

Though I love them, the AD apps can be a bit buggy. Some of the controls (e.g. pitch) in Discord have a habit of freezing up for example.
Yeah. Not happy the devs never responded to my two emails. But their apps are brilliant otherwise.
