Did you buy something for this need? IK Multimedia's iRig comes to mind.
I had to look up the Behringer and that looks good too at the same price.
I like my Behringer too, but I have a feeling the cable will go bad eventually.
But, I could pick up a whole new Behringer for about the same price as a lame proprietary type cable, so it is probably not too big of a problem.
