Which IOS Chord App has A Chord Note Spread Feature ?

specifically this feature allows you to add and subtract the amount of notes in the chord you are triggering in real time.... in application you would hopefully also be able to assign a midi controller knob to that feature and scroll through the note choices in real-time.

so to clarify does anybody know of any of the chord apps in particular that can do this?

  • I don’t know of any that explicitly do what you are describing.
If it turns out one doesn’t exist, I bet you could do this with ChordMaps 2. It has a lot of different note triggering areas, each with its own midi channel. You could probably trigger a main chord, a bass note, a melody note, and a two-note diad, all together or in any combination. You would just have to be knowledgeable about how to build the extended and alternate chords yourself, and spend time learning to play the ChordMaps 2 layout.

  • You can do that in ChordPolyPad.
