Possible to route IAA apps to Rozeta within AUM?

Mostly I’d like to run SeekBeats thru XOX in lieu of the SB sequencer. How can I do this, and use other IAA with Rozeta?

  • Yeah, you have to set up the midi settings for IAA apps in the apps themselves. For SeekBeats you turn Virtual Midi and BG audio, and Link if you want to use that.
In AUM, you can now see SeekBeats as a destination in the Midi Matrix. Hook up Rozeta to SeekBeats.

Make sure your midi channel numbers match, and use Rozeta midi note template for SeekBeats. If there is no template for an app you want to use, you have to configure the note mapping in Rozeta by hand.

    Thank you!

Note that the best way is often to use direct IAA midi instead of setting up MIDI in the apps themselves using Virtual MIDI. This is possible for IAA "Instruments" and "Music effects" (instead of "Generators" and "Effects"). Then it works just like for AUv3 plugins, where you can route MIDI directly to the node and also make use of the built-in MIDI channel and note range filters in AUM.

    That's a good point/will do.
