Searching for something like Midi designer Pro for PC
Hey, I've got 44 midi devices. Midi channel limits are definitely a problem.
I want to send 1 message from my foot controller to my PC, and then from there, the PC sends program changes to 44 devices simultaneously. I'm using a midi interface of course to have more midi outputs.
Basically I'm looking for some program that can store banks of presets to recall all my devices at once.
For example, one system patch could have presets active on 7 devices, while the other 37 are all set to Preset 1, which is mute preset I programmed into all of my devices.
Are there any programs like this that acts like a midi foot controller?

Have a look at Cantabile -> https://www.cantabilesoftware.com/
There's a free version along with a solo and performer paid versions.
I don't know but it might do what you are looking for; have a look at the documentation on their website.
I use it as a simple VST host and MIDI router but I know it can do a lot more.
Cool! Setup pics please!!
Pure Data is probably a good choice to build such a tool.
If you have NI Reaktor you could build an ensemble there which sends Program Change commands after a MIDI input of any kind (note, PC, CC). Shouldn't be too complicated to do.
Other software that could do this are, possibly, Usine and Audiomulch.
OK thanks I'll check it out Cantabile, my setup is in total disarray now, I'd be ashamed to post such a mess!
Bome midi translator.
+1
Oh I'll definitely try out bome, looks a lot simpler!
