Soft Drummer Cuts Out in Cubasis, iOSOS!
Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem recording Soft Drummer on a Cubasis audio track. When I first launch SD and CB I can record an audio track, but the next time I try the SD sound cuts out and I get a CB error message that interapp couldn't connect. I relaunch but no help. If I reboot the iPad I can start all over again but the same thing happens. In my frustration I downloaded Audiobus (though not quite ready for the next layer of learning) and set up SD in input and CB in output. I loved how all that worked and the way I could easily switch back and forth, but the same difficulty arose... no sound from SD anywhere. However, when I checked the mixer on AB there was a signal for SD, and it fell to zero when I pressed the SD "pause" icon at top of the screen.
iSherlock Holmes, Help!
In spite of a new frustration at every turn of the road I still find all this stuff beautiful and am determined to understand a bit more each day (and usually do)!

You may have run across some threads regarding IAA shenanigans...this is what we’re talm bout.
Try a reboot first though.
Have you made sure all the apps have background audio enabled?
You would expect the SoftDrummer signal to drop to zero when you press pause though.
Sometimes it helps to launch IAA apps first and then load them into the host.
This sounds kind of like SD may need an update. You can try to contact the dev and let him know about the issues.
Also, keep an eye on the forum for others confirming the same bad experience. Sometimes it is just something weird with the install on your device, and deleting the app and re-installing might help. It often does. You will lose any user files when you do this, so back them up somehow if you need to.
