  • There are a few to check out: AUFX Space, AUFX Dub, Virsyn's reverb app, Master FX, Echo Pad. I have all these and they are all pretty good, but bear in mind that even so, you are not going to get close to what you can get in Auria, because there are still quite a few gaps to fill: compression, expanders, EQs etc...

  • what about Turnado? And is it better as an effect or as an Auria plug in?

  • Auria comes with the following effects buit-in:

On every channel strip there is an expander/gate, a 3 band parametric EQ, and a compressor. On the master bus there is also a bus compressor and a brick wall limiter.

Then you have convolution reverb, classic reverb, PSP stereo chorus, PSP stereo delay - all as part of the default installation. So even without any IAPs you have got some very nice options there, way ahead of Cubasis and also covering effects that aren't available as individual effect apps (compression, expander, parametric EQ), but that are bread and butter for mixing work.

And then you have the IAPs, some of them are really excellent, such as Drumagog, Pro Q, Old Timer etc...

As for Turnado and WOW, if you own the standalone apps then you also have access to them as native Auria effects without any extra cost. The functionality is identical. Sadly this is not the case with JamUp, if you want to use it in Auria you have to buy it again.
