Lol!
I don’t mean to use two, just to clear up the account he hasn’t used for years. I’m all for other methods as well but dropbox does work flawlessly and quick.
Then so should iCloud, Box, Google Drive or any other choice one has arrived at over the years. Dropbox as a business has no special relationship with Korg as far as I’m aware, why do I have to suck up to Dropbox?
They are just too darn lazy to implement standard iOS features for sharing files locally between apps...
Are they like waiting for iOS12 or something!?
To me it's just absolutely insane having to send the files all over the interweb just to be able to load it into another app on the same device... (Hello, 'Open In...' has been available since iOS8 with Airdrop support to send stuff between devices...).
I doubt the Korg people even use their own apps to larger extent. If they would they'd see all these small easy to fix annoyances and just fix them...
+1. Seems the obvious thing to do here until Korg get with the times. I’ve got about five.
Me as well. Think people just wanted to moan about it though.
Not quick in my experience. Though I have a fast internet connection, it is faster overall for me to export each track individually to AudioShare.
Not to mention that AudioShare has been import zip files since forever. If they cared, they could have done multiple track export that way as well.
And add support for the other export options as well, why limit AudioShare to 16-bit 44.1Khz, it's no 'AudioCopy'
The original impetus for why I wanted to explore putting Gadget content into Auria is that I’m not happy with Gadget’s mixer automation. It doesn’t seem easy to automate it properly without having to duplicate scenes, otherwise the automation itself may end up cycling per scene cycle. Editing the mixer automation is also not sophisticated enough. However, having put the audio track exports from Gadget into LPX, I now have a better platform for automation. LPX doesn’t have that special ingredient that makes me want to create new tunes – that’s Gadget’s domain. However, as a Gadget tune nears finalisation, Gadget itself starts to constrict it, so it seems better to get it out of Gadget at that late stage.
Can I bump this thread cause I’ve just bought gadget and Stockholm for the Rex control only to find out the file import/export is turd.
And to add +1 to “wtf is going on with no Files and forced Dropbox in this day n age”. To some it’ll sound stupid but if it wasn’t for all the Rex files I had I’d be asking for a refund.
I’m really stunned.
Anyway.. My question is, if I’m planning to make break loops and phrases, probably a full songs worth, in Stockholm and move them to Cubasis to then work on the main song will the quality be good enough?
Reading through the thread is there an issue with sound quality moving out of gadget?
No.
Thanks
