Exporting Gadget into Reason

They both support Ableton link.. However that only syncs them, correct? What’s the best was to do this?

  • Exporting audio files?

I just use Dropbox and export individual tracks, personally, and then from there into a PC DAW for mixing/mastering.

  • I use also dropbox - it works fine. Best would be "Reason export" :)

  • @MAtrixplan : Thanks, I thought so .

  • I find iTunes is easiest..
Plug iPad into computer - iTunes pops up - select apps - click on app - highlight samples - click save and a box pops up asking where to save - navigate to your samples folder on your computers drive and save.. now load up reason and retrieve iPad samples from folder on computers drive.

If you're looking to export stems (presumably), this won't help, but you could drop to Allihoopa from Gadget and then "pick it up" in Reason back from Allihoopa. The problem here though is that it's a flat mix of all tracks (I think, I know that's what Figure does. = kind of useless :( )

I don't have Gadget installed right now to test out if the behavior is the same

  • Thanks everyone!
