recording midi while improvising in AUM - help please
Hi,
long time reader but this is my first post...
I use AUM to setup nice beats coming from several AU Units and then I choose a synth and try to get some melodies to play over the beat.
I would like to record they synth into a midi sequencer to pick out the best parts and rearrange them...
As I have cubasis this seems to be the tool to do it with...
Is anyone doing this and able to point me in a direction on how to do that?
Thank you in advance for your help
F.

AUM can be set to IAA outs, which could then be selected as inputs into Cubasis. The big challenge may be that Cubasis has to be the master clock.
Perhaps you could record and export your beats to Cubasis, then continue with your midi tracks from there?
