DDMF NYCompressor CPU usage?

I have an iPhone 8 and am wondering how many instances (roughly - I know it depends on lots of things) people are getting using NYCompressor in AUM or Audiobus3. I’m close to buying it but am hesitant if I can only use one instance before my phone starts glitching. Thanks!

  • On 8+ Running so well optimized apps

    AUM
    Ch 1: Rozeta Bassline
    Ch 2: Phasemaker plus NYCompressor
    Ch 3: Rozeta X0X
    Ch 4: Ruismaker plus NYCompressor
    Ch 5: Rozeta Bassline
Ch 6: Viking Synth plus NY Compressor

    = just over 50% CPU

  • Thanks! I went ahead and bought it because I'm impatient and one reply is enough

It really doesn't seem to add much in the way of CPU in 1 channel mode in my all of 10 min of use so far. I need to experiment with m/s etc. I'll reply back here after I've had more time with it myself.

  • How’s the preset system for NYCompressor in Audiobus? iCloud? Ability to import/export through iTunes File Sharing?

How’s NYCompressor working out? (now that you’ve tried it out for a bit longer) How’s CPU usage?
