At what time in the linked video does he discuss the iPad related matters you speak of?

  • @brice ..At 8:30 into this one. It works via AFF file. They don’t mention ios specifically but they mention Logic. So I could be wrong but....

Please let me know what you think.

If it works, it’d be awesome for PC users.

ahh cool. I’ve got a friend who uses S1, so I’ll give this a test. I know Auria can export an AAF; any idea what other iOS apps can?

  • I’m wondering and yes I just now found that Airia could . I’d like to know, please keep me posted .

Looking into it a bit more, AAF files, while still beneficial, don’t hold as much information as I originally thought. No MIDI, Volume, Pan or even tempo information is baked in. Just audio region placement on a timeline. A huge benefit for video workflows. But for my music endeavors not so much.

  • @brice : Aw crap, Brice, I was hoping! Oh well, thanks for looking into it . Apple will probably be trotting our Marzipan tomorrow so ios and Mac OS will be getting along swimmingly but I’m buying a laptop Tuesday and I want it to be a PC. SO much more bang for the buck, especially now. I love the new Studio One too.. oh well then .. And again thanks
