Try hitting that play button in the right corner under 1 bar fixed and then try playing it. It looks like Beatmaker is playing in scenes mode and will ignore any midi from song mode, which is where you are.

    That's unbelievable!!!
    :o :o :o

I am fighting with this problems since when BM3 came out!

The solution is not available anywhere - but YOU found it easily and fast!

This realy solves the "silent MIDI problem" of BeatMaker 3!

Now, I can finally dig around in that app and try things etc.

I am deeply impressed and thankful!
    :) :) :)

In 1000 years, I would not have come to the idea to press this little innocent and nearly invisible play button.

No problem. I use BM3 like everyday so I’m familiar with its quirks but still learning a lot. I use scenes mode to push out ideas and then use song mode to export

  • Only thing I master in bm3 is buying sounds...
I just hope I one day have the patience to utilise them

  • That's what turns me off of BM3: such a steep learning curve!

Thankfully for us all, you didn't have that same attitude toward learning the Guitar. ;)

That´s exactly what i do with BeatHawk

I’ve actually bought choir sounds in BeatHawk - money lost I’d say
But with our extensive portfolio of apps, how can we master them all.
I leave it to Doug, to come up with a video
