Garageband as a Live tool
Hello Everyone,
I have genuinely query. I have been using Garageband for about eightneen months now. I find it a really easy way of composing and getting a song off the ground. I have recently translated my Garageband guitar sound to a series of Pedals and a really super heavy amp. This is a pain in the ass and it still doesnt sound the same.. Would it be possible to instead play through my Macbook and into P.A. and what would be the problems?

Should work. If you use the headphone out to connect to the PA be careful to not overdrive the PA input. Also, maybe think about heat and laptops don’t mix well together, and clubs get hot and steamy.
You could also use the iPad or iPhone versions for live use.
Or use mainstage if you are going to use your laptop live. I've seen people using macbooks constantly live on my sound gigs and there's not any general issues beyond issues that can affect any instrument that I've seen if they take care of their computer.
