I'm super excited to announce that my iPad-produced first full album is live, thanks to this forum!

Apologies in advance for the long-ish post, but I wanted to say some things about how important this forum has been to me, plus I'm just a little pumped right now which makes me tend to ramble a bit lol :smile:

This place is an amazing resource! I can say without question the album wouldn’t exist if I hadn’t found this forum. Lots of users helped, in most cases indirectly without even knowing, just by posting things here. Special shoutouts (again, for many reasons they may not realize) to @richardyot @Telefunky @tja @Bluepunk @brice @Lady_App_titude and @Cib, all of whom made posts that gave me "ah-ha" moments in one way or another.

So, because of everyone here and all their helpful posts (not just those I called out), one of my lifelong dreams has become a reality!

I posted most (all?) of these tracks here over the past 6 or 7 months or so. And I've learned SO MUCH during that time (see above). So I spent the past few weeks remixing them all, some significantly, and some even have instrument changes (and in one case a track name change lol). Actually I was a little embarrassed about how some of them sounded when first posted [yikes], so this weekend I went back and made all those originals private on soundcloud and uploaded these, trying to keep the same links. Lots all my stats in the process, but oh well. And even though the album is on the major paid streaming services now, I do want people to be able to listen even if they can't afford one of those subscriptions, so these will stay up on soundcloud.

I am under no illusion about how much more the tracks should still be improved. Even now I'm hearing things I want to fix in the mixes, as well as mastering things better and having consistent drum levels between tracks and brightening the vocals etc etc. Maybe one day after more experience I'll come back and do a "Remastered" release. :smile:

Everything was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Auria. All tracks were sequenced in SunVox (with synths hosted in Auria). Strange choice there I know, but what can I say, I like it. Other apps making main appearances:
Zeeon - all tracks except Dragonfly and Those Who Wander. This guy turned out to be my primary go-to synth.
Moog Model D and Model 15 - You Got This, Fly Faster, Members Only, Leviathan (Model 15 only)
GeoShred (:heart: this thing!) - You Got This, Marina Lights
Poison-202 - Fly Faster, Members Only, Mustangs

    Congrats on finishing something :) Ignore those thoughts of tweaking...it's done...revel in your success for a bit, then move onto something new ;)

    Yes yes, loving the musical honesty pouring from every groove, but what I really adore hearing/reading is the excitement inside/behind it all. The weekend can only deteriorate from here. Good stuff. Right sir.... no resting on laurels....push on. :)
