  • Any info on when Sampletank will finally go AU? Even if it's an extra IAP for said functionality, I'd like a Sampletank AU mate.

Folks, any need for "sample moog" when i have all moog and mood Apps and Syntronic too?

Samplemoog IMO no. However Imperial Grand is a really nice piano.

  • AU! AU! AU! AU! Pleaseeeeee

Does anyone know the normal price for the SampleTank Pro pack ? Is it really around 66€ with a reduction to 33€ ?

I am still on the fence about buying it because i don‘t use ST that often and if so than only in Live Mode as a multi-midi-channel rompler. I don‘t like the daily popup advertisement and that i have to enable this mode every time by hand.

And as IAA, session state-saving... yada, yada, yada you know the problems

    .

As AU with automatable parameters it would be a lot more versatile and probably get more love from my side - a hint from the dev that this feature is planned ( and perhaps a timeframe), would encourage me to purchase some more extension packs :)

The other Rompler i sometimes use has openly announced that it will support AU next year, so buying their expansion packs isn‘t wasted money...
  • Recommended IAP if only one? I just spent some money on the Fabfilter sale.

I like acoustic music, so pianos, guitars bass elec or acoustic, drums, orchestral...

Pro Pack, Imperial Grand, American Acoustic, or Miroslav 2. Oh sorry, you said just the one :)

If it's any help Imperial Grand is my personal favourite piano on iOS, because it's a tad warmer and softer than the other top pianos, and American Acoustic is pretty unique in that it's capable of creating very realistic acoustic guitar parts.

  • I remember some talk of American Acoustic crashing?

  • bought the American Acoustic as it's been on my list quite a while

thought it might be good for the holiday whilst leaving the guitar at home

It did use to crash in Auria if used as IAA (although I haven't tested it for a while), but it worked OK via AudioBus.
