So far it´s also my favorite organ on iOS but of course it´s sadly limited compared to the Logic version.
I wish they would go ahead and release some of the full instruments like B3, Sculpture and Alchemy.
Then give me P900 for iPad as well and i use iOS again A LOT more.
I mean i like my mac and Logic but i think mac is now just a side project from Apple and they will let it die in some years maybe. Macs are not good computers anymore compared to the competition (beside the trackpad).
So iOS is clearly the future for Apple...but then they should start to put their pro apps into it as well.
Thanks for the tip!
Organ+ was the predessessor app to Galileo, it sounded pretty good; I had it in those pre AudioBus days. Galileo2 will be good, but I’m wondering if it be good enough that I need to buy It? I seem to have plenty of great organ sounds around my studio.
I hear ya - I'm pickier than most when it comes to electro-mechanical keyboard sounds. Electric pianos and Hammond organs were my first love, so it really stands out to me when the Hammond especially sounds cheap. It's really the AUv3 which makes it worth rebuying - everything else is just frosting.
I'm hoping that with Galileo 2, I can finally have the AUv3 live rig I wanted and cover my favorite classics:
Rhodes/Wurly - Neo Soul Keys Studio
Hammond - Galileo 2
Piano - Ravenscroft
Yamaha CP-80 - BS-16i
Model D
And then it just gets silly with the synths, of course. But the above would get you though any rock, blues, funk, jazz, etc gig no sweat. Amazing to think that what once upon a time would take a truck to cart around and a team of dudes to set up now is in my electronic notepad.... What a time to be alive.
Oh no, what a sad news :’( I can call it extortion
Well, you can, in this age of entitlement, I guess. How old is the original? Isn’t the dev entitled to something to fund future projects in a niche market?
I say “Bismillah no!”. Actually, yes, I’ll grab this.
I mean, all goods and services of high quality are implicit extortion. So yep, what can I do? I don't like paying, but not paying is much worse
Aw snap - birthday release for me!
Yonac folks - any word on price? IAP cost? Anyone? I'm dying over here - can't wait for this!

Just out of curiosity...
Is it possible to just use the 'effects' as an AUv3 effects unit?
(I'm not super interested in the organ but the effects including IAPs would be a nice addition to the arsenal).
No, unfortunately not.
It would be nice if they gave Kaspar a bit of love as well, we still don't have exposed AU parameters yet
I do wonder that if/when 'Magellan' gets an update if it will retain the option to use the effects as a separate effects unit (it can be used as an IAA Effects unit without the synth).
For organ players this might be a real boon but I'll skip this one...
(Just got the WebLP and that's seriously cool for nostalgic like me).
I’ve always thought it would be cool to have Logic on iOS, but I’m not sure what it would look like exactly. Logic is one of the industry standard DAWs. Apple has put so much into it and continues to update it regularly. Even if they made an iOS version, I can’t see power Mac users leaving in droves to run their studios on a little iPad — at least until iPads are equally powerful, reliable, connectable, use a more standard file system, and output to multiple screens.
Have you seen the Magellan FX unit in Tonestack?
Most likely it would be a crossbreed between GarabeBand (with all the missing features added) and Logic Remote
>
That would be great. Especially if Fab Filters and T-Racks got interested.
Not sure what the chances are of Apple porting Locic, though, or what a cut down version would lack.
Any idea what the IAP is and current IAP cost??
Currently $5 (half off) for 10 items...a few amps and mostly standard effects units
Oh man the drawbar shortcuts are sooo coooool
I mean awsum
Let’s hope NeoSoul will catch up and get universall app
So does this sound any different?
Anyone else having trouble triggering nores using the keyboard in Garageband? It seems to record from its own keyboard but will only trigger notes very intermittently via the Garageband keyboard. (Running as an AU)
Thanks
