Ison

Couldn't let such an important event as the perihelion of Comet Ison pass by without a new tune!
This one is a real mixture and follows the journey of Ison from the outer reaches of the Solar System, past several planets, inexorably towards the sun where it may pass behind and re-appear, vapourise or explode!
On this track I used Nave, iSem, bs16i, Cubasis drums, Magellan, and my guitar through Amplitube.

    Thanks for posting this. I used to be an avid sky searcher but haven't spent much time lately appreciating the heavens above. I bought a 4" telescope back in 1985 when Halley's Comet was visible. I'll be long gone when it comes around again.

    Great track. Really feeling the vibe of Ison. Loved the ending (and not because it was over). Nice use of apps.

    Interesting transitions in places, I kept expecting it to take a turn one way, and then it went somewhere else. :) A bit light in the lower mids, kind of makes it sound a touch thin. Great track though, dig the guitar at the end.
