I dunno, troublemaker sounds better from the demos Ive heard.
I respect your opinion. For me it’s not a matter of any one synth sounding “better” than another. I’m more concerned about what I can do with it. No reason I can’t find a place for both. I do enjoy Troublemaker for sure.
At the beginning it was simular to FL Studio’s “Transistor Bass” vst (which it quite good)..... From what I’ve seen through the progression of his vids on YouTube, it is always a warm welcome for another TB303 clone. TrobleMaker is excellent of course, but I’m looking forward to the release, especially as Propellerhead had to remove ReBirth, Audio Realism didn’t bother updating there version(even when I asked the Dev via a couple of emails)....... But I hope that the 2XB303 will be an AU Unit, I think it has Link, as one vid showed him syncing with external sources & hardware?.....
All true and fair enough. But Troublemaker does sound much more like a TB 303- which is what the acid lovers want. This has given me the inspiration to dig out my Roland TB3.
I emailed AR and got a question back if I was OK with 64 bit update. I said that would be great and also suggested an AUv3 version of their 303. Never heard any more.
Looks like more question Bardgering then?... Last time TechnoBox was updated, it was 4 yrs ago I think?. It’s on the AppStor,e, but you cannot redownloaded it ( just tried it now)
What I hear from this demo is that this one has a better frequency range. More bass at the low end and more squeek at the high end. I like it!
Dev hoping for this weekend release.
