  • Man, huge discount too... Grab this if you don't have it. Can't think of a much better way to spend $5

  • must resist...

  • it's a great discount, but as I already own Auria, Cubasis, and Multitrack DAW I'll probably pass on it...

  • Might look into it then. I use multitrack for now but there's a lot of things I'm not a fan of like no tap tempo and no loop recording (like in ableton how it will keep recording after you finish recording within the loop selection and then you can just keep undoing the recording to get all the riffs you played). Hope to see auria on sale too

Still can't afford it though...at half a GB...and my iPad almost full!

But I might go for it anyway.

Are the IAPs only content such as sounds and loops or are they also functionality, such as extra MIDI control or effects? In other words, is the app complete even without IAPs?

  • @mnp I use the stock basses and drums, then sample and use synths for the rest. Best $5 you could spend on IOS music app!

  • BM2 is worth the 4.99 for the sampler alone.

  • @mmp yes…IAP are only for loops and other sounds

@I have all this apps too…but BM2 have sampler and slicer fantastic….is a must have app...

  • @Vejichan:i thought you already own it.That's at least what you wrote in the Meteor sale thread just a couple of hours ago... ;-)

  • with the Autoloop function on BM2 it seems possible to use it like the Novation Launchpad app where you could launch different pads and it would continue to loop but my question is does it have a way to sync the triggered pads as in if I had one loop playing and i hit another pad would it automatically start playing or could you have it trigger at the next beat so they are in sync.

  • @fjcblanco: thanks for the heads-up, since this is a steal, I cannot withhold any longer (only had the first version up to now...), lokking forward to playing around in it..

  • OK thanks guys, got it!

  • My last attempt to finish a song with GB convinced me that it was time to try a new DAW. thanks to this sale, BM2 it is!

  • Interesting @gmslayton. I would like to know about that.

  • Hell froze over.

  • Amazing app. My to to daw on iOS for recording. It's worth more than the original 19.99 price tag (if cubasis can get away with charging 50 bucks, bm2 could defintely justify it too since it's got more features). Certainly worth 4.99.

  • Damn this forum. That's more money spent!

    :)

  • I could not resist....I ve got it :) Now I need to look at the manual from the website...hope is not complicated for a "learner"...

Some "how to" tutorials on the web too.

Great! Thanks a lot, on the INTUA site: a quick "how to" and also a complete Manual.

  • The official manual is pretty thorough and helps a lot. I recommend taking 30 minutes to sit down and read straight through it. You'll hit the ground running a lot faster that way.

  • Fantastic, I am already putting my hand on it, and yes, the Manual seems a great source of info for a beginner as I am.

  • Bear in mind it's version 2.3 (we're on 2.5 now) so minor(!) things like Audiobus, IAA aren't included. Tim at Discchord had a great video of him adding samples of a song to various pads, if you take a look

    .

  • Same reasoning here @simon.

  • I can't imagine how you guys could be let down at that price. It's a fun app. It's my destination for recording (first draft anyway). Good luck. If I can help shed any light on any specific areas please don't hesitate to post here.

    .

  • Just 30 min digging on it, using it by "feel"....I love the idea to assign at each pad a sample from a song :) ...many many sounds and instruments. The Manual is a great source of info (90+ pages :O ) ... on line as Ian wrote there are great video, the APP has a good potential even for a beginner as I am. Thanks to all.

  • Get real. I don't post often but check this forum about 20 times a day
This is a steal. I brought this at full price
    I am still smiling.
    This app rocks
    Great midi
    Super time stretch ( on a phone ! )
Sure it's a little fiddly. But forget about the interface and just get on with your audio job.
There's a few videos on YouTube to show you how to apply your own skins for whole interface. Since watching this video I have changed lots of graphics colours etc on cubasis and others.
Pay the money, spend an afternoon with it
    You will be pleasantly surprised
You can remove bm2 samples and replace with your own. Which is easy

  • Lots of people have been asking how to remove the default BM2 samples as they take up too much room, so do please post your easy method for doing so.
