Natural Vocal\Percussion samples in BeatMaker 3. Wizibel+LumaFusion Madness. Music Track with Video.

Hi, I’m just putting this here if anyone wants to listen and/or watch my creation. Samples are from people I used to live with. My friend Emily did 3 octaves of ooohh, I sampled her shaker, her husbands Djembe, and my father also doing vocal ooooh/ahhh. It’s not perfect. I need to get better at sampling stuff. The drum samples get a bit off beat, I wish I could just play the physical percussion and not from chopped up samples. It’s nice to have samples of things that remind me of “home”. Trying it out here as a test to see if people are interested in this kind of thing here. Oh, audio got put into Wizibel and made an audiowaveform ring, then I put this in LumaFusion and duplicated, tweaked, exported, imported, duplicated, tweaked, etc 10 times or so until we get to where the video is.

  • This is my favorite use of Wizibel ever. Waveform flowers?! Nicely done!

+1 for exceptionally creative use of wizibel.

    Sweet track too!

  • Thanks y’all! I think the worst part of the video process was every step further that I took it was harder to go back and change anything given the number of times I had to export\import. I wanted to change some of the BM3 scenes I made up slightly, but that was so far back and part of the DNA in every WIzibel ring. Eventually, I just left it as it was and decided to move on. I almost turned the flowers into eyes, but wasn’t sure what I’d put them in.

  • I really like your track. Very original sounding. It seems this piece is very personal to you, so kudos for having the courage to share it with us.
Your video is great as well. I agree, that is a very cool, creative use of Wizibel.

I really dig the monk-like effect of the layered vocalizations over the more shaman-like percussion. Very nice.

  • Nice track and great use of Wizibel. I hope they expand that app more, its cool but so limited on its own.
