Turnado MIDI learn broken in Audiobus after update?

Installed the newest Turnado update as I was quite excited for AUv3 support, but now I can’t seem to get MIDI learn to work in Audiobus 3... anyone else experiencing problems with this? I’ve already emailed SugarBytes support, just figured I would ask here while awaiting their feedback.

  • nah, works great here. I just did a quick test. Long press on a knob and a box appears. Tap on "LEARN" then move the external knob and you should be good. But the weird thing is there is no visual feedback when you tap on learn. It just disappears

Of course, you have to know your way around the MIDI routing matrix in AUM. Traffic flows from the top (select your MIDI controller source ) to the right (select Turnado destination) and make sure the correct box is checked.

Also you can midi learn the AU parameters directly on the AUM channel as an alternative to the gui :)

forgot to mention that i am using audiobus, sorry, i assumed that was given - hahaha - and i’ve made some edits as a result of my stupidity. i have attempted to set up the MIDI routing using the same method I employ for my other AU apps (Poison, etc.) with no success. it’s also worth noting that I have no issues with MIDI learn on the same controllers when running Turnado in standalone mode.

i noticed the same behavior running Turnado in standalone mode.

  • It works fine on AB3 beta. In the fx slot I put ‘Turnado midi’ , and in the midi slots routed Rozeta LFO .
