But @LinearLineman is relatively new to this forum and possibly to such inet locations in general (dunno).
He made a mistake, but has the chance to learn from it.
As far as I'm concerned I skipped the content of the original topic when it came to masters and teachers. It's simply not my cup of tea (for various reasons).
This forum is focussed on exchange of ideas, which may well be (or discussed) controversial - but any kind of dogma is better avoided.
Some benefit from teachers, others are annoyed by them. There is no single way.

Just was listening on talk radio today about how Seagal was granted Russian citizenship after becoming a disciple of Putin. Now he travels around, defending Putin in the Western press.
