I used to use Studio One heavily and used both Presonus Capture and Studio One Remote extensively on iPad. I don’t have any machines with Windows on any more though (I’m more reliant on Linux for what I’m doing these days), so now I get by with Ardour when I need it. Will probs pay for a Harrison Mixbus licence soonish.

  • Studio One is a great app, been using it for years for client mixdowns. They took a lot of great ideas from all the previous DAWs and modernized it into one sleek package.

Now is a very good time to get mixbus, they're selling the standard version with all their plugins for $49, until the 6th, plugins are all lv2 format.

Back to the thread, I'm very tempted by studio one, like the way some plugins work across the channels and buses, with crosstalk etc, built into the daw, like tape by softube, one thing I wish logic had outside of using individual plugs on each channel that support that sort of functionality.

  • Yeah, I’m struggling to stay within iOS but the new version looks insane !

  • @Tarekith : Do you still use iOS DAWS, Cubasis, Auria, etc? Auria fully loaded w fav 5 plug ins is very powerful too!

  • I’ve got 3 but am looking hard at upgrading to 4 and also getting console1

Newest cubase is looking pretty good too tho and has same console1 Intergration.

  • @ruggedsmooth : Yeah but the studio one chord track on version 4 is midi AND audio.. Huge difference
